How much does a swimming pool cost?

That is a question we get asked regularly. It's a good one, but a little like asking 'how much is a car cost? That depends on make, model, year, extra bells and whistles, and the list goes on. If you are really serious about building a pool, we are happy to come and meet with you to consult and discuss your goals and the options you have. Obviously there can be a huge range in pricing. There is no charge or obligation for one of our personalized quotes. So just ask! Taylor Made Pools serves clients in Surrey, Langley, and all of Greater Vancouver.

Do you do everything (Digging the hole, electrical, finishing, etc?)

Yes. We do everything directly related to the pool build. And we can facilitate everything else with contractors that we have worked with in the past. So the decking, special water features, landscaping, etc. are all things we can help you achieve.

Do you replace old or damaged liners?

Yes. Give us a call and we will look at your pool and recommend several options. you can look at a wide range of patterns from our catalogue, and we'll get you fitted perfectly. See our section on Liners.

Do you inspect pools?

Yes. With 30 years of experience we have seen a thing or two. We also offer pool repair most pool associated problems and equipment.

Can I buy a kit from you and build my own pool?

Yes you can. But building your own pool is not for the faint-hearted. You will need to be very committed to following the process with precision to get a good result, as well as finding reputable trades who are familiar with pool wiring, plumbing, etc.

What should I look for when I choose a pool company?

Does Taylor Made do regular pool maintenance (chemicals, cleaning, etc.)?

No. There are a number of professional pool cleaning companies we can recommend, however, we try to build the pool in such a way as the regular maintenance is kept to a minimum. When many of our customers see how easy things can be (with a weekly routine), they often choose to maintain the pool themselves.

Can I get a better deal building my Pool Off-Season?

Yes. Typically pool construction costs increase form year to year by 4 to 5%. Taylor Made will hold last season's pricing for shoulder season construction - meaning Winter, early Spring or Fall construction will see you saving on average around 5%.
